Thespian Points
Thespian points are awarded for participating in certain thespian activities and events. Gathering enough points determines whether or not you are eligible for induction or graduation chords. Participation also grants you access to thespian society's biggest event of the year, THESCON! Thescon is a conference held in Columbus, Georgia for thespians all across the state. They are able to take workshops and see plays hosted by fellow actors and actresses. More information on Thescon will be posted later in the year. Below is a link that shows what events will get you points and how many points you can get for participating in these activities.
***PLEASE NOTE***
THERE IS NO DOUBLE DIPPING ALLOWED!
i.e. You cannot write down “makeup crew” for Aida and “running crew” for Aida. Only choose one role per production
Thespian Point Sheet
In order to keep track of your points throughout the year, please go to the current thespian secretary and ask for a point sheet where you can record your thespian points. When you are finished, return this sheet to the secretary so that she can determine if you are eligible for induction into thespian society or a graduation chord. You need at least 10 points to be inducted.
