About our program
Centennial's theatre program puts on two main stage shows every school year, one of which is a musical and the other is a play. This year however, we will be putting on 2 One act plays, and a musical. In addition, there is the one act play competition in the fall and the student directed one acts and dinner theater in the spring. We also participate in the Georgia Thespian Conference every year. Fall 2012 we performed Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream, and this past spring we performed Sondheim's Into the Woods. There are a myriad of ways to get involved in our program as a parent or as a student. Students can participate not only as performers, but also as stage managers, house manager, ushers, or as part of the tech crew. Parents play a vital role in our productions as well, and more are always needed to help with costumes, set, programs, advertising, concessions, and much more.
